Lead Clinical Intake Assessor/Licensed LMSW/ LPC/LCSW

Overview

Join our compassionate and driven healthcare team as a Clinical Intake Assessor, where you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting individuals at the very start of their mental health journey. In this position, you’ll connect with clients, listen to their stories, and complete thoughtful, comprehensive assessments that help guide them toward the care they need.

Duties

• Conduct thorough clinical interviews with new patients to gather detailed mental health histories and current concerns
• Evaluate patient needs using evidence-based assessment tools
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored treatment plans that address gender issues and other unique patient considerations
• Provide clear explanations of available services, treatment options, and next steps to ensure patient understanding and engagement
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards
• Coordinate with clinicians and support staff to facilitate smooth intake processes and timely scheduling of follow-up care
• Stay informed about current best practices in mental health assessment and emerging therapies to continually enhance service quality

Experience

• Proven experience conducting clinical assessments within mental health or behavioral health settings
• Licensed LCSW or LPC strongly encouraged to apply
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and foster trust with diverse patient populations
• Ability to manage multiple assessments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality
• Prior experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable

Pay: $75,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

• Licensed LCSW (Required)
• Licensed LMSW (Required)
• Licensed LPC-A (Preferred)
