Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based mental health and addiction counseling to diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders. Duties

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing DSM-5 criteria and ICD coding standards to evaluate mental health, substance use, and behavioral issues.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to promote positive change.
• Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques, ensuring client safety and stabilization.
• Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, maintaining accurate medical records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Facilitate intake assessments for new clients, establishing rapport and gathering comprehensive psychosocial histories.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals, case managers, and community resources to coordinate holistic care plans.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in research activities, staying current with best practices in addiction medicine, behavioral health, and mental health counseling.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical documentation requirements, including CPT coding for billing purposes and detailed notes on patient progress.
• Provide culturally competent care by working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds across home, community, hospital settings, and outpatient clinics.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure as an LCSW or LSW; CADC certification preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in psychotherapy, child & family counseling, addiction counseling, and crisis management.
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and behavioral health treatment modalities.
• Skilled in client assessment in therapy settings with expertise in mental health evaluation and behavioral management strategies.
• Experience working with individuals who have substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health conditions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health care.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively within HIPAA guidelines while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning through research or professional development activities.

Pay: $23.32 - $29.00 per hour
