SP Clinical Services LCSW PLLC is excited to announce we are expanding to Onondaga County, NY. We are a mental health practice that contracts with the agency ICAN providing IPA Therapy Service work; Individual and Family counseling services to Adults, Youth, Families, and as needed groups. Role Description
The Clinician will provide direct mental health services, including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and Individual, Family, or Group Counseling for clients. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in an Electronic Health Record, Develop/Update Treatment Goals as needed, collaborating with other providers and community resources as needed, and monitoring client progress and safety. If interested there may be opportunities for Psychosocial Assessments. The Clinician will use evidence-based interventions, participate in case consultations as needed, attend Supervision and Staff Meetings as needed, and adhere to all professional, legal, and ethical standards.
This is a part-time or per diem role that requires consistent availability during agreed-upon hours noted in Treatment plan but schedule is developed between Therapist and Client.
Based on the client’s preference, these services will be provide in the client home, Clinicians office, or identified Community location. Therapist will be responsible as needed for transporting client.
Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Licensed Master Social Worker
- Licensed Mental Health Clinician
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
- Licensed Psychologist
- Must Have New York State Licensure, in good standing.
- Demonstrated experience providing outpatient mental health counseling and conducting clinical assessments.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, family systems approaches).
- Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, uphold ethical standards, and ensure client confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary partners.
- Capacity to work independently on-site while contributing to a supportive, team-oriented practice culture.
- Therapist will be responsible as needed for transporting clients.
- Therapist will be required to have a working computer/tablet and cell phone that has Google Chrome Access.
- Therapist is not required but may benefit from having access to a working printer and scanner.
Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
