Overview
Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services. Duties
- Conduct mental health and behavioral assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to support patients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, HIPAA regulations, and medical terminology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including medical social work and psychiatric patient management.
- Collect data for clinical research projects related to mental health interventions, addiction counseling, PTSD care, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) using compliant systems while ensuring confidentiality policies are strictly followed.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an LCSW or LCPC with appropriate state credentials.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, and crisis management within diverse settings such as hospitals or community clinics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical documentation standards, and psychiatric assessment tools.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and those with substance use disorders.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver culturally competent care across diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
