Job description
We are looking for a Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist to help our patients get the most out of their ketamine treatment. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, open-minded, and curious — someone who brings clinical rigor and genuine warmth to the work in equal measure. You would provide trauma-informed therapy in person at our Montgomery (Cincinnati) location and via telehealth to patients at our other locations, while helping to shape and grow our Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Program. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on patients' lives utilizing innovative, evidence-based treatments.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, respectful, and compassionate care to all New Pathways Clinic patients.
- Provide trauma-informed clinical services in person at our Montgomery (Cincinnati) location and via telehealth to patients at our other locations.
- Conduct treatment planning, both independently and in coordination with clinical staff.
- Provide patient psychoeducation and support before and after ketamine sessions to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Continue to develop and implement the KAP Program, aligning with ethical standards, state regulations, and current best practices in ketamine assisted psychotherapy.
- Lead future training initiatives, consultations, supervision, and team meetings to support ongoing KAP growth.
- Represent the clinic at conferences, in professional organizations, and at educational events.
- Contribute supplementary materials for patients, including guided meditations, handouts, writings, and blog posts.
- Work closely with the clinical and nursing teams to ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications
- Independent licensure as a mental health clinician in Ohio (LPCC, LISW, or licensed psychologist).
- Degree from an accredited program (CACREP, CSWE, or APA).
- Experience working with trauma and with multicultural issues.
- Genuine interest in altered states of consciousness and meaning making.
- Passion for helping people grow in consciousness and personal well-being.
- Open-minded and willing to be a learner as well as a therapist, assisting clients on their ketamine journey.
- Training in psychedelic-assisted therapy is preferred but not required.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and making patients feel at ease.
- Experience and comfort using electronic health records (EHR); experience with Microsoft software a plus.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
