Independently Licensed Contract Counselor

Four Corners Counseling and Wellness is looking for skilled clinicians to provide outpatient counseling for families, couples and individuals (children, adolescents, and adults). Our practice aims to provide quality clinical care to clients to support them in their therapeutic process. In addition to providing care to our clients, Four Corners places equal importance on providing a positive environment to employees that strongly encourages work life balance and prioritizing one’s health and wellness.

Four Corners Counseling and Wellness is contracted with several insurance providers in addition to private pay/ sliding fee. Our counselors receive and accept referrals from our practice based on their skills, knowledge, and preferences. While we support our clinicians in growing by learning new modalities and interventions, we also respect comfortability and competency. Clinicians at Four Corners Counseling and Wellness are not responsible for billing or other administrative tasks unrelated to clinical care.

Caitlin Gizler, LMFT and Monica Torres, LPC are co-owners and operators of Four Corners Counseling and Wellness. Caitlin has been in the field for over 13 years and has developed her expertise working with children, couples, and families. In addition to her clinical roles, she has held executive leadership positions, which has provided invaluable experience in creating programs and resources that serve the needs of individuals and the community.

Monica Torres, LPC has over 10 years of experience in the field with a primary focus on general mental health needs of adults and court-ordered treatment. Throughout her career in community mental health, Monica worked as an Intensive Outpatient Therapist, Supervisor, and Clinical Director. She developed and supervised the development of several clinical programs designed to deliver gold standard care to clients with limited access to resources and services.

Having worked in community mental health for many years, both Monica and Caitlin are incredibly aware of the burnout that can result from long-term clinical care. Four Corners Counseling and Wellness was created so that clinicians could provide quality therapy while also receiving the empathy and support needed to care for themselves throughout the process. Without balance and time to enjoy life, direct care can be draining. Four Corners wants to offer space for clinicians to have a sustainable workload and a sense of autonomy in the work that they are providing.

Job Details

1099 Contract Employment

Minimum of 10 scheduled clients per week

1 day in office for clients needing in-person sessions (Available in office days: Monday, Saturday, and Sunday, virtual schedule decided by contract counselor).

Complete session notes/documentation within 24 hours following session.

Complete Intake Assessments, Ongoing Counseling Sessions, Treatment Plans and Discharge Summaries

Ability to offer Telehealth services to clients

You will be paneled with any insurance providers that we contract with that accept your license level.

Requirements

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or license eligible in the State of Arizona

Good standing with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners

Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, correlated field

Previous experience in working within an individual counseling setting

Trainings and/or experience in trauma informed care

Must provide own liability insurance

Current CPR & First Aid Certifications

Equipment: Must have a smartphone, access to reliable internet, computer with web-cam and comfortability with technology

Compensation & Benefits

This is an independent contractor position with opportunity for increased revenue based on caseload size

Compensation is 70% of session revenue (session rates range from $70-$175, assessments $100-$200)
