Elite Professional Providers, LLC is seeking a highly autonomous Licensed Psychotherapist to oversee and deliver behavioral health therapy services across our partner adult care homes in Kansas.

This role leverages a balanced delivery layout consisting of flexible telemedicine encounters and structured in-person rounds.Under the regulations of the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB), this position targets clinical-level practitioners possessing full statutory authority to diagnose and treat mental disorders independently.

You will maintain full clinical autonomy to evaluate and treat residents across:

  • Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
  • Long-Term Care (LTC) Facilities
  • Assisted Living Facilities (ALF)
  • Residential Health Care Facilities (RHCF) (Kansas regulatory term)
  • Memory Care Facilities

Key Responsibilities Autonomous Diagnostics & Therapeutic Delivery

  • Independent Diagnosis: Conduct thorough clinical intakes, cognitive screens, and psychological evaluations to independently establish primary mental health diagnoses under DSM-5-TR parameters.
  • Geriatric Psychotherapy: Formulate and execute evidence-based therapeutic treatment tracks targeting major depressive disorders, late-onset generalized anxiety, adjustment disorders, and bereavement.
  • Behavioral Care Architecting: Construct non-pharmacological behavioral modification frameworks for residents displaying cognitive decline or severe behavioral disturbances.

2. Regulatory Documentation & CMS Quality Metrics

  • GDR Support Metrics: Meticulously track and document therapeutic responses, behavior frequencies, and non-pharmacological adjustments to support facility-wide psychotropic Gradual Dose Reductions (GDR).
  • BSRB Compliance Standards: Maintain professional counseling records that exceed Kansas BSRB documentation, ethics, and diagnostic verification standards.
  • Medicare Auditing Alignment: Defend patient care choices by consistently linking clinical progress notes to measurable goals, justifying ongoing medical necessity.

3. Multi-Facility Alignment

  • Strategic Rounds: Coordinate your facility footprint with regional schedulers to deliver organized therapy rounds.
  • Peer Consultation: Act as an expert independent behavioral consultant to the facility's attending primary care physicians, nursing directors, and consulting PMHNPs.

Practice Workflow & Administrative Relief

  • Administrative Support: Office support squads execute insurance authorizations, manage document flow, and prep schedule logs.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Integrated primary care and psychiatric provider panels handle all physical care and pharmaceutical management, isolating you to focus solely on high-value therapy.
  • Zero On-Call Burden: No mandatory night or weekend on-call shifts; full emergency triaging is handled by dedicated staff.

Pay Models & Compensation Options

  • Visit Revenue Model: Earn 60% of collected insurance claims for all direct physical and telehealth therapy sessions.
  • Tax Infrastructure: Flexible contracting designs: full 1099 Independent Contractor setup for maximum tax optimization, traditional W2 framework with benefits, or a hybrid layout.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Active, unrestricted clinical-level license issued by the Kansas BSRB (specifically LSCSW, LCPC, LCMFT, or LCP). Non-clinical, supervised licenses do not qualify.
  • Deep familiarity with federal CMS regulations concerning psychotropic tracking and chemical restraint avoidance.
  • Valid driver's license and active auto insurance.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
