Hybrid - LCSW| LICSW | LMHC-Track- Couples & Families (Middleboro)

Grow a couples and family therapy practice in a community that shows up for each other. We are expanding our Middleboro outpatient team and welcome MSW graduates, LCSWs, LICSWs, LMHCs, and license-eligible clinicians who want to build a couples- and family-focused caseload while joining a workplace that protects their time, invests in their growth, and keeps quality referrals coming.

This is not a "find your own clients and figure it out" therapy role. It is a full-time W-2 opportunity with a built-in referral pipeline, paid onboarding, dedicated clinical guidance, and the ability to grow a relationship-centered practice without carrying the administrative load alone.

What You Can Count On

• Compensated intake no-shows: When a scheduled new client does not attend an intake, your reserved clinical time is still compensated.
• Ongoing-session cancellation protection: You also receive compensation protection when established clients cancel or do not attend scheduled therapy appointments.
• A supported financial start: Paid training and guaranteed compensation help create stability while your clinical schedule develops.
• A real flow of clients: We assign referrals directly to you. You do not have to market yourself, chase referrals, or build a practice independently.
• A clinical practice that grows with you: Your Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director consider your training, clinical interests, preferred modalities, and career goals when assigning clients — including couples, families, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

How Your Caseload Grows

Your first weeks are designed for learning, not overload. During paid orientation, you will learn our approach to documentation, intake assessments, treatment planning, clinical workflows, and relational and family systems care.

Then, your schedule grows through an intentional referral process:

• Approximately 5–6 new clients are added each week during your ramp-up.
• Your clinical schedule develops toward approximately 25 client sessions weekly.
• You may see more than 25 sessions when you choose and when your capacity allows.
• Your referral flow continues after ramp-up, with new intakes matched to your availability, clinical strengths, and treatment interests — including couples work, parent–child sessions, and full-family sessions.
• You will have time and support to build therapeutic relationships, complete documentation, and develop confidence.

What Your Week Includes

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals across the lifespan.
• See in-person clients at the Middleboro clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays.
• Conduct telehealth sessions the remaining days of your clinical week.
• Offer some evening availability to accommodate working adults, dual-earner couples, and school-age families.
• Complete intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, clinical documentation, treatment plans, and ongoing therapy.
• Consult with your Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, and peers on complex cases and clinical goals.
• Let our internal teams support the operational work: referrals, scheduling, billing, and intake coordination.

Community-Based Referrals

The work is varied because the community is varied. You may serve clients referred by:

• Schools, youth programs, and family-serving organizations across the Middleboro.
• Pediatricians, primary care providers, and integrated-care partners.
• Community nonprofits and local resource agencies.
• Courts, mandated-care programs, and justice-system partners.
• DCF and foster-care-connected services.
• Nursing homes, older-adult programs, and long-term-care settings.
• Hospitals and behavioral-health programs supporting people after discharge, psychiatric hospitalization, or step-down care.
• MassHealth, Medicare, Medicaid, and major commercial insurance plans.

This referral mix lets you build a couples- and family-therapy niche while serving clients of every age in the broader Middleboro region.

What You Bring

• An MSW, Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree, Mental Health Counseling degree, Marriage and Family Therapy degree, or a related qualifying master's degree.
• An active Massachusetts LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC credential, or eligibility to pursue the relevant Massachusetts licensing pathway.
• Availability for onsite clinical care at the Middleboro clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays, with telehealth the rest of the week.
• Some evening availability to serve couples, working adults, and school-age families.
• Experience or genuine interest in couples therapy, family therapy, and working with clients across the lifespan — children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
• Interest or experience in outpatient therapy, clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and telehealth.
• A client-centered, ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration skills.

New graduates, early-career clinicians, and independently licensed therapists are all welcome. This is a post-graduate clinical position, not a practicum or student internship.
