Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist (Remote | LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist)

Job Summary

New Horizon Therapy is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and collaborative Fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent) to join our growing virtual private practice. This fully remote, part-time 1099 contractor position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to provide high-quality care while being part of a supportive and collaborative team. Applicants must be fully and independently licensed in Texas, Mississippi, and/or Florida, with multi-state licensure strongly preferred.

We are especially interested in a clinician who is currently credentialed with Headway, has consistent evening and/or weekend availability, communicates effectively, takes initiative, and is interested in growing with the practice. Clinicians must be able to maintain a minimum of 10 clinical hours per week and commit to New Horizon Therapy for a minimum of one year to support consistency and continuity of care for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telehealth therapy and conduct intake assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain timely documentation in SimplePractice
• Maintain a minimum of 10 clinical hours per week
• Maintain consistent evening and/or weekend availability
• Communicate responsively and professionally with practice leadership
• Attend monthly virtual team consultations and required meetings
• Independently manage your caseload while remaining engaged with the team
• Maintain all required licenses, credentials, and professional liability insurance

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field
• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent)
• Licensed to provide psychotherapy in Texas, Mississippi, and/or Florida
• Currently credentialed and active with Headway
• Minimum availability of 10 clinical hours per week
• Evening and/or weekend availability
• Ability to commit to the practice for a minimum of one year
• Strong communication, organization, professionalism, and ability to work independently

At this time, we are only accepting fully licensed clinicians. No provisional, associate, or pre-licensed clinicians will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensure and/or Headway credentialing in multiple states
• Experience or training in couples and/or family therapy
• Previous virtual private/group practice experience
• Familiarity with SimplePractice
• Spanish or other language fluency
• Comfort with professional networking, outreach, and/or social media
• Leadership experience or interest in future clinical leadership opportunities

Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
