Pay

• 55%–60% of actual insurance collections
• 90837 (53-minute psychotherapy sessions) for follow ups
• 90791 for intakes (83- minute psychotherapy sessions)
• Compensation is based on the amount actually reimbursed by the insurance plan, rather than the amount billed or if the client pays cash
• Current reimbursement examples for 90837 range approximately from $105.68–$122.36 per session, depending on the insurance plan, $150 for cash clients
• Based on current reimbursement rates, clinician compensation is approximately $58–$82 per completed 90837 session, depending on insurance/cash client, payer and percentage.

Job Description

Job Title: Fully Licensed Courage Counselor

Professional CT License (MUST HAVE): LPC, LCSW, or LMFT

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in dealing with psychiatric patients in a counseling setting

Job Type: Fee for Service

Responsibilities Include

• Assess and plan patient care by evaluating psychiatric and psycho-social needs of patients
• Provide direct patient care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy specific to each patient’s needs
• Provide direct crisis intervention to patient and families in multiple sites in the system and in the community
• Provides continuous education to patient and family members and refers them to appropriate levels of care, to support groups and to other available resources in order to maximize care and facilitate recovery or treatment process
• Ability to work effectively across programs for clients with mental illness, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders
