Cedar Tree Family and Children Services, LLC is expanding behavioral health services into North Carolina and is currently recruiting qualified behavioral health professionals to become part of our developing statewide clinical network.

Cedar Tree is an established behavioral health organization with experience providing community-based mental health and family services. We are currently completing payer credentialing and contracting activities in North Carolina and building our clinical team in preparation for service implementation.

This is an expansion opportunity. Patient referrals and caseloads are expected to begin following completion of applicable credentialing, contracting, enrollment, and organizational requirements.

Who We Are Recruiting

We are seeking North Carolina professionals with applicable behavioral health credentials, including:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A)
• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A)
• Other qualified North Carolina behavioral health professionals may be considered based upon licensure and program requirements.

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Eligible clinicians may receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

The sign-on bonus is contingent upon successful completion of Cedar Tree's onboarding and credentialing requirements and is subject to the terms of a written Sign-On Bonus Agreement.

Eligibility may require:

• Verification of an active and eligible North Carolina professional license;
• Completion of all required background checks;
• Completion of Cedar Tree's onboarding and training requirements;
• Submission of all required credentialing documents;
• Completion and/or updating of CAQH, when applicable;
• Successful credentialing/affiliation with applicable payer networks when required;
• Acceptance of an active clinical assignment when services become available; and
• Remaining actively affiliated with Cedar Tree for the period established in the Sign-On Bonus Agreement.

The $1,000 bonus is not payable merely for submitting an application or signing an initial contractor agreement.

Potential Services

Depending upon licensure, credentialing, payer requirements, and Cedar Tree's approved service structure, clinicians may provide:

• Behavioral Health Assessments
• Individual Therapy
• Family Therapy
• Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services
• Adult Behavioral Health Services
• Trauma-Informed Treatment
• Treatment Planning
• Care Coordination
• Community-Based Behavioral Health Services
• Telehealth Services, when permitted

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• An active North Carolina behavioral health professional license or qualifying associate license;
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or another qualifying behavioral health discipline;
• NPI or ability to obtain an NPI;
• CAQH profile or willingness to establish one;
• Professional liability insurance or ability to obtain coverage;
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks;
• Strong clinical and documentation skills; and
• Ability to satisfy applicable payer credentialing requirements.

North Carolina Expansion

Cedar Tree is currently in the North Carolina payer credentialing and expansion phase.

Selected clinicians may begin onboarding and credentialing before patient services begin.

Selection, credentialing, or affiliation with Cedar Tree does not guarantee a particular caseload, number of referrals, number of billable hours, or service start date. Clinical assignments will depend upon payer contracting, credentialing, organizational approvals, referral availability, and applicable regulatory requirements.
