Sound Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) to join our growing outpatient mental health practice in Owings Mills, Maryland.

This position is ideal for clinicians working toward independent licensure who are looking for quality clinical supervision, a consistent referral stream, a manageable caseload, and a supportive team that values both professional growth and work-life balance.

Position Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Provide individual psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults.
• Maintain a caseload of approximately 6 to 8 clients per day.
• Complete initial treatment plans by the fifth therapy session.
• Review and update treatment plans every six months.
• Develop collaborative treatment goals with clients and monitor clinical progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Review, edit as needed, and electronically sign therapy notes generated through our AI-assisted documentation system.
• Participate in weekly clinical supervision and team consultation meetings.
• Practice in accordance with Maryland licensing regulations and professional ethical standards.

AI-Assisted Documentation

We understand that quality client care should take priority over paperwork.

Sound Wellness Center utilizes an AI-assisted medical scribe system that generates therapy session notes for clinician review and approval. This significantly reduces documentation time, allowing therapists to focus more on client care while maintaining accurate clinical records.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland LMSW or LGPC license required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience providing outpatient mental health services is preferred but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Four days per week in the office
• One hybrid workday consisting of telehealth and/or in-office services
• Established referral network with a consistent client caseload

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of $62,000 to $66,000, based on experience.
• Ten days of combined paid vacation and sick leave annually.
