As we continue to expand our services in Texas, we are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team as a full-time contract clinician.

Position Summary

Metropolitan Circles, LLC is seeking a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide outpatient behavioral health services to individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.

The LPC will conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide psychotherapy, monitor client progress, and maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy and other clinically appropriate counseling services.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and reassessments.
• Develop individualized, measurable, and person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive therapeutic interventions.
• Assess and monitor clients' symptoms, needs, strengths, risks, and treatment progress.
• Complete progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
• Conduct appropriate risk and safety assessments and follow established crisis protocols.
• Coordinate care with behavioral health professionals, healthcare providers, schools, families, and community resources as appropriate.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, clinical consultations, trainings, and other required meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, professional ethical standards, agency policies, and applicable Texas requirements.
• Meet established productivity, quality, and documentation expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or a related behavioral health field.
• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the State of Texas.
• Current CANS and/or ANSA certification, as applicable to the populations served.
• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy.
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks, credentialing, and payer enrollment requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous outpatient or community mental health experience.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness and other behavioral health needs.
• Experience providing trauma-informed and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Familiarity with Texas Medicaid and managed-care requirements.
• Experience with Medicaid documentation and medical-necessity standards.
• Experience using an electronic health record (EHR).

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
