Fractional LCSW Clinical Director-Medicare Enrolled

Position Overview

The Fractional LCSW Clinical Director is a senior-level contract leadership position responsible for providing high-level clinical oversight, ethical guidance, and regulatory supervision for the organization’s cognitive wellness programs. This role is designed for a highly experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides strategic clinical direction on a part-time or "fractional" basis. Key priorities include clinical supervision for LBSW and LMSW staff, ensuring adherence to the NASW Code of Ethics, and maintaining the clinical integrity of all patient-centered interventions.

Engagement Structure

• Status: Independent Contractor / Fractional Executive.

• Commitment: Approximately 10–20 hours per month (depending on organizational volume).

• Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer or Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervision & Mentorship

• Licensure Supervision: Provide mandated clinical supervision hours for LMSW and LBSW staff as required by the state board for their professional growth and licensure maintenance.

• Case Consultation: Conduct monthly high-level clinical reviews of complex or high-risk cases to ensure appropriate therapeutic interventions and risk mitigation.

• Clinical Mentorship: Provide professional guidance to the Regional Program Coordinator (LMSW/LPC) on ethical dilemmas and complex psychosocial dynamics.

• Program Integrity & Compliance

• Policy Oversight: Review and approve all clinical policies, procedures, and program manuals to ensure they align with current social work best practices and state regulations.

• Ethical Auditing: Conduct periodic audits of clinical documentation to ensure the highest standards of ethical practice and patient confidentiality (HIPAA).

• Regulatory Liaison: Serve as the clinical point of contact for state licensing boards or accrediting bodies during quality reviews.

• Strategic Clinical Direction

• Program Innovation: Advise executive leadership on the integration of new evidence-based cognitive interventions.

• Outcome Verification: Review regional clinical data to verify that program outcomes are meeting established benchmarks for patient wellness.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.

• Licensure: Must hold a current, active, and unrestricted LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) credential in the state of practice.

• Supervisory Status: Must be a State-Approved Clinical Supervisor (e.g., LCSW-S).

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in a senior clinical management or director-level role.

• Specialized Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of geriatric social work, cognitive decline, and healthcare regulatory environments.

Compensation Structure

• Model: Hourly Rate or Monthly Retainer.

• Professional Coverage: Must maintain independent Professional Liability Insurance (Malpractice).

Pay: $3,500.00 per month
