Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Overview

South Florida Arts & Counseling (SFAC) is seeking a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) to join our practice.

This fully remote opportunity is designed for a motivated clinician who has already completed and passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) and is actively working toward independent licensure in Florida.

We are especially interested in clinicians who are bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy working with diverse populations while developing their clinical skills in a supportive and professionally structured environment.

Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Hold an active Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) registration
• Have successfully completed and passed the NCMHCE
• Be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Hold a qualifying master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field
• Be actively pursuing Florida LMHC licensure
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and ethical practice
• Be comfortable providing psychotherapy via telehealth
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Be dependable, responsive, and committed to continuity of care

The Role

As part of SFAC, you will provide individual and/or couples psychotherapy to clients throughout Florida through a fully remote telehealth model.

Our administrative team supports clinicians with clinical training, scheduling, insurance verification, billing, credentialing, and other administrative functions, allowing clinicians to focus primarily on client care and professional development.

We are looking for clinicians interested in building and maintaining a consistent caseload rather than simply adding a few supplemental clients.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
