The NC Youth Violence Prevention Center (NC-YVPC: www.nc-yvpc.org) is seeking an energetic, compassionate master's-level clinician to help expand trauma-focused behavioral health services across Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties. This is more than a therapy position—it is an opportunity to build services, coordinate a mobile mental health unit, develop community partnerships, and become part of a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to helping children and families recover from trauma, violence, abuse, and adversity.

Position Summary

The Eastern NC Expansion Coordinator/Mobile Clinical Therapist provides trauma-focused assessment, individual, family, and group therapy for children, adolescents, and caregivers affected by violence and victimization. The clinician also coordinates outreach with Child Advocacy Centers, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners while helping expand NC-YVPC's regional behavioral health network. The position coordinates day-to-day operation of a mobile mental health unit designed to increase access to care in underserved rural communities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based trauma treatment using TF-CBT, Bounce Back, expressive arts, and related interventions. Training will be provided.
• Coordinate and supervise mobile behavioral health services throughout Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington Counties.
• Develop referral partnerships with Child Advocacy Centers, schools, healthcare providers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct community outreach, prevention education, and presentations.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation and required grant reporting.
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary case review.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related behavioral health field.
• North Carolina licensure or license eligibility (LCSW, LCSWA, LCMHC, LCMHC-A).
• Commitment to working with children, adolescents, and families affected by trauma, grief, and adversity.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within eastern North Carolina.
