Early Intervention Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Position Summary

Optimal Care Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide therapeutic services and mental health support to families of infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years). In this role, you will address family needs, provide counseling, and connect families to resources. We believe all children are capable of learning and achieving, and by supporting the whole family, you will help create an environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services including individual and family therapy
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and mental health assessments to rule out or diagnose autism
• Prepare the MDE summary report as needed
• Address parental mental health concerns, trauma, and family dynamics
• Offer therapeutic intervention for attachment and parent-child relationship concerns
• Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed
• Connect families to mental health services and community resources
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and coordinate care with other providers
• Participate in IFSP meetings and provide clinical perspective on family needs
• Complete thorough clinical documentation and treatment plans
• Advocate for families within service systems

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
• Current New York State LCSW license required
• Minimum 2-3 years of post-MSW clinical experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based interventions
• Experience with infant mental health and early childhood
• Excellent clinical judgment and crisis intervention skills
• Bilingual (Spanish and other non-English languages/English) highly preferred

Pay: $175.00 - $191.00 per hour
