EAP Counselor - LCSW, LMFT, LPCC

As an EAP Counselor with Wayne Corporation, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and well-being of employees and their household members. This position combines direct clinical care with consultative support for employers, emphasizing our high-touch, personalized approach that goes beyond traditional “check-the-box” EAP services.

Duties:

• Provide in-person and telehealth counseling under the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) model for employees and their household members experiencing issues that affect job performance and personal well-being.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of presenting problems and identify appropriate courses of action to support client needs.
• Recommend the most beneficial and cost-effective treatment and referral resources, ensuring timely access to counseling and support services.
• Educate clients about available resources, eligibility, and program services with a positive and professional approach.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential documentation of all cases in the electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with the clinical and administrative team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and effective service delivery.

Qualifications:

Contract Position requires In-person, afternoon hours. 2-3 days a week ideally. Ideally Mon, Wed, and Friday hours. Mix of telehealth and in-person sessions.

Must be licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

• Master’s degree in a mental or behavioral health–related field.
• Current licensure in the behavioral health field (e.g., LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
