About Us

Kadia Health is an early-stage virtual clinic that provides comprehensive support to the family members of people with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Family members of SUD patients are often deeply impacted by their loved one’s addiction and unsure of how to help. By connecting family members with their own specialized therapist, our mission is to help them improve their own well-being while equipping them with evidence-based tools to support their loved one’s recovery.

We provide a range of resources tailored for families, including the virtual delivery of Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT). Kadia handles all software and administrative work, including marketing, billing, and collections, so that you can focus on your clients.

The Role

• Manage a caseload of 25 to 30 clients, meeting each client once per week in a 50-minute session. You will work with each client for a 12-week period, following intake.
• Other duties as needed to further treatment for families.
• Complete accurate and comprehensive session documentation and use this material to prepare for upcoming sessions.
• Collaborate with other therapists on the Kadia platform to provide coordinated care to clients, where appropriate.
• Conduct client phone screenings and assist in onboarding new clients.
• Attend all required virtual trainings.
• Attend all team meetings and required supervision.

Compensation

• Your take-home pay will depend on your years of experience, licensure status, and level of experience with CRAFT. Rates range from $30 to $45 hourly for provisionally licensed therapists (LCSW).
• Clinical supervision with an LICSW will be provided with all necessary documentation.

Professional Qualifications

• Masters level clinical degree (LCSW) in Massachusetts.
• You are comfortable and proficient with online telehealth services.
• 2+ years of experience working in SUD treatment.
• You have all appropriate CEs and licensure requirements.
• You are trained in or willing to become trained in CRAFT. Kadia will sponsor CRAFT training for qualified applicants. Training takes roughly 8 hours and must be completed prior to working with Kadia clients.
• You are certified in CRAFT or working toward certification. Kadia will sponsor certification for qualified applicants. You may see Kadia clients during the certification process.
• You understand family systems theory (including role theory, family hierarchy, strategic family therapy, interactional patterns, and triangulation).
• You have experienced the challenges SUD presents in families and are passionate about guiding families through the complex process of accessing evidence-based support.
• You are comfortable working at an early-stage company or group practice where flexibility is required.
• You have demonstrated empathy and compassion for individuals and families impacted by SUD.
