Job Description

Build your specialty in couples therapy inside an established, EFT-rooted group private practice in Fort Worth.

Love Seat Counseling & Life Coaching is hiring couples therapists and marriage counselors LMFTs, LPCs, and Associates who genuinely want to deepen their work with couples, attachment, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

You'll build a couples-focused caseload without having to manage the marketing, billing, intake coordination, or administrative demands of running a private practice on your own. You'll work with motivated couples and relationship-focused individuals using an Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment-based, and trauma-informed lens, with a collaborative clinical team and full administrative support behind you.

About the Practice

Love Seat Counseling & Life Coaching is a boutique group private practice in the Fort Worth area, with offices in Alliance / Fort Worth and North Richland Hills, serving clients throughout the Fort Worth, Keller, Alliance, and North Richland Hills area.

We specialize in couples therapy, marriage counseling, Emotionally Focused Therapy, affair and betrayal recovery, sex therapy, Christian and faith-integrated counseling, attachment injuries, and trauma-informed care.

Our therapists focus on the clinical work. Our administrative team supports intakes, scheduling, billing, reminders, and client coordination so clinicians can spend more of their time doing the work they were trained to do.

The Role

• Position: Independent Contractor (1099 Therapist)
• Setting: Primarily in person at one of our two Fort Worth-area offices, with some telehealth available
• Caseload Focus: Couples therapy, marriage counseling, attachment injuries, relational concerns, and trauma-informed individual therapy
• Schedule: Flexible based on your selected availability, with particular opportunities for clinicians offering evening and/or Saturday availability

Compensation

• $77 – $97 per completed clinical session, based on licensure, experience, and EFT training
• Compensation is per completed clinical session for this 1099 role
• Steady stream of pre-screened, aligned referrals
• No marketing, billing, or intake work to chase

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality couples therapy and individual counseling using EFT, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approaches
• Help couples identify and shift the relational patterns that keep them stuck or disconnected
• Maintain timely, ethical clinical documentation
• Engage in clinical consultation and collaborative learning opportunities
• Develop and maintain a consistent caseload based on your selected availability
• Practice in alignment with Love Seat Counseling's clinical values and standards

Qualifications Required

• Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Active Texas license as an LMFT, LMFT-Associate, LPC, LPC-Associate, or licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) with a strong couples and relational focus
• Genuine interest in couples therapy, attachment, and Emotionally Focused Therapy
• Interest in building or deepening a specialty in couples and relationship-focused work
• Ability to see clients in person at one of our Fort Worth-area offices

Preferred

• ICEEFT-approved EFT Externship completed or actively pursuing EFT training
• Experience providing couples or relationship therapy
• Experience with attachment-based or trauma-informed approaches
• Interest in continued EFT training, including Externship and Core Skills
• Long-term interest in specializing in couples and relationship work
