About the role

Fava Counseling Associates is currently hiring a full-time or part-time couples counselor. If you are passionate about working with couples, join our supportive team of professionals providing excellent therapy to Sandy Springs, Atlanta and surrounding areas in Georgia.

You might be a good fit if

  • You are experienced in working with couples, and have an interest in gaining more experience focused on relationships and couples counseling
  • You are an LPC, APC, LMFT, AMFT, LMSW, or LCSW or have started the process of licensure.
  • You would like to get established in a group practice, and learn the ins and outs of being successful in a private practice environment
  • You like the idea of collaborating with other professionals and don’t want to operate as an island
  • You aren’t looking to join a large practice and feel lost in the group, but would prefer a smaller setting with more personal attention
  • You have an interest in learning how to market yourself well, but need help growing your skills and strategies for effective marketing

What we offer

  • Employment as a W2 with competitive hourly pay, and pay increases based on experience and caseload

  • Training to become a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator
  • Part time caseload expectations: 12-23 clients per week, after initial caseload is established
  • Full time caseload expectations: 24+ clients per week, with additional benefits available for FT status
  • A mix of virtual and in person time blocks

Fava Counseling Associates is a small group practice in Atlanta focused on creating a safe space for clients to establish and restore healthy relationships, while also exploring any other challenges they are facing. We value excellence, warmth, safety, and healthy relationship skills, and are looking for therapists who align with these values.

The ideal candidate has experience working with individual adults and couples. Preference will be given to candidates with specialized training, especially those who are trained in couples work, the Gottman method, and trauma.
