LAC/LIAC/LPC/LCSW – Behavioral Health Counselor
Another Level of Community Services (ALOCS) is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate LAC, LIAC, LPC, or LCSW to join our expanding Behavioral & Mental Health team!
ALOCS began in 2016 as a re-entry day program and has continued to grow into a community-focused behavioral health organization serving individuals navigating mental health, substance use, trauma, recovery, re-entry, and community reintegration.

In This Role, You Will:
- Provide individual counseling and trauma-informed behavioral health services.
- Support members with mental health, substance use, relapse prevention, trauma, anger management, domestic violence, co-occurring diagnoses, and re-entry challenges.
- Assist members in developing coping skills and achieving recovery and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with families and the ALOCS clinical team when appropriate.
- Complete timely clinical documentation and participate in chart audits and clinical meetings.
- Support IOP/PIOP services and collaborate with case management and treatment staff.
What You Bring:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field.
- Current LAC, LIAC, LPC, or LCSW credential/license.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Computer proficiency, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and EMR/EHR systems.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Must be 21+.
- Fingerprint Clearance Card required; up to 90 days may be allowed to obtain one, if applicable.
- CPR and CPI certification required within 30 days of hire.
Preferred: Experience with the criminal justice/re-entry population, leadership or coordination experience, program development, treatment planning, and/or EMDR certification.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
