Contract Licensed Social Worker – International Adoption

We are seeking a Texas-licensed Social Workers to work as an independent contractor supporting prospective adoptive families pursuing international adoption.

This is an opportunity for an experienced social worker who understands the unique needs of families navigating the intercountry adoption process and is committed to providing thoughtful, professional, family-centered support.

Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting adoption home studies and family assessments for prospective adoptive families
• Completing required interviews, documentation, and reports
• Providing education and preparation related to international adoption
• Supporting families throughout the home-study process
• Communicating with prospective adoptive families and adoption professionals
• Maintaining timely, accurate, and confidential case documentation
• Completing post-placement/post-adoption services as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current Texas social work license (LBSW, LMSW, or LCSW)
• Experience conducting adoption home studies strongly preferred
• International/intercountry adoption experience preferred
• Familiarity with Hague and/or intercountry adoption processes is a plus
• Strong writing, communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working independently as a contractor
• Spanish fluency preferred, but not required
• Compassionate, culturally responsive, and family-centered approach
• Willingness to travel for in-person home visits as required
