Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), LPC-eligible (LPC-a), or Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) Contractor, to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately diagnose conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy tailored to each client’s needs.
• Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions using modalities like psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and social work interventions.
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and crisis management skills to support clients experiencing acute emotional distress or behavioral crises.
• Engage in intake processes for new clients, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including medical professionals, educators, and case managers—to coordinate care for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment notes, progress reports, and medical records, adhering to clinical ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as an LPC or LMSW; LPC-a candidates with supervised experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; pediatric or outpatient experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, diagnosis coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, and behavior management techniques.
• Experience working with diverse populations including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD care needs, chronic pain management, or complex behavioral health conditions.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams; telehealth experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and compliance.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
