Clinical Therapist

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing therapeutic services, including psychotherapy counseling, to individuals and families. You will play a crucial role in assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering effective interventions to promote mental health and well-being.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy and psychotherapy services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed to ensure client safety.
• Manage cases effectively by coordinating services and resources for clients, including referrals to community resources.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with ICD-10 standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support for clients.
• Engage with children and families, utilizing specialized techniques tailored to younger populations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, LICSW).
• Experience in crisis intervention and case management is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with systems theory and its application in clinical practice.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Previous experience working with children is a plus.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work practice.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
