About the role
Reclaim13 is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to creating healing pathways for survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation. Our comprehensive healing services include a residential program, trauma-informed therapy at Compassionate Professional Counseling, a Mentor Program, a Child & Family Program, a 24-hour crisis hotline, and a Survivor Moms Program.
Job Summary
The Clinical Therapist is a member of the Compassionate Professional Counseling (CPC) team and provides trauma-informed psychotherapy to Reclaim13 program participants and community clients. This role supports individuals experiencing trauma, emotional distress, and life stressors, with a focus on delivering high-quality mental health services for survivors of child victimization as well as those facing mood disorders, anxiety, and relationship challenges.
Reports To: CPC Clinic Director
Educational Requirements: Clinical license in a mental-health field (e.g. licensed psychologist, LCSW, LCPC, etc.)
Additional Requirements
- Trained and experienced in conducting trauma-informed psychotherapy
- Clinical licensure in a related field
- Family and child therapy experience preferred
- Successful completion of all requirements by the Department of Child and Family Services, including background screening and eligibility to transport children. All DCFS requirements must be kept current and updated during all times of employment to serve in this role.
Job Responsibilities
Clinical Practice Management
o Schedule and provide psychotherapy services for approximately 2-6 Reclaim13 program participants, with sessions occurring twice per week as clinically appropriate.
o Schedule and provide psychotherapy services for approximately 20-25 Compassionate Professional Counseling (CPC) clients per week.
Documentation and Administrative Responsibilities
o Provide timely completion of clinical progress notes, treatment plans, case documentation, and all required clinical records in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Communication
o Communicate clinical concerns and provide regular treatment updates to program staff regarding Reclaim13 program participants to support coordinated, trauma-informed care.
Professional Compliance and Continuing Education
o Maintain all required continuing education in accordance with state licensure and professional regulatory requirements.
o Maintain active and unrestricted clinical licensure and professional liability (malpractice) insurance throughout employment.
Additional Responsibilities
o Engage in support groups, networking, public speaking, writing, and collaborative projects on a national level.
o Perform other duties and special projects assigned to support the mission, clinical excellence, and growth of CPC.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
