Clinical Supervisor - LMFT, LCSW

Duties

• Provide supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, ensuring adherence to clinical ethical guidelines and documentation standards.
• Oversee clinical case management, including intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
• Facilitate individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health interventions.
• Conduct crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health challenges or emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation, medical records, and clinical notes in accordance with healthcare diagnosis coding systems like ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Lead training sessions on counseling interventions, trauma-informed care including PTSD care, autism spectrum disorder strategies, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate client care across home, community settings, hospitals, and telehealth platforms.
• Collect data for clinical research initiatives and monitor treatment outcomes to support continuous quality improvement efforts.

Skills

• Proven experience working with children, families, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or trauma-related conditions such as PTSD.
• Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques, crisis management protocols, and behavioral management strategies.
• Expertise in family therapy, marriage & family therapy, child & family counseling, and working with couples or groups.
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing and counseling interventions tailored to diverse client needs.
• Skilled in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and medical records management.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs; familiarity with hospital settings is a plus.
• Telehealth experience combined with excellent client communication skills for remote service delivery.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines.
• Strong case management skills including patient assessment and treatment planning across various healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of research methodologies within behavioral health to support clinical research initiatives.
