Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Social Worker and Professional Counselor, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive, evidence-based mental health services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in various settings such as outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and telehealth platforms. You will be responsible for conducting mental health assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions that promote recovery and resilience. Your expertise will help individuals navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools such as ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy.
• Provide direct support through individual, group, family, and child & youth therapy sessions across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth environments.
• Utilize crisis intervention skills to manage acute situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with medical professionals, social services, and educational teams.
• Document all clinical encounters accurately within EMR/EHR systems following HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Implement specialized interventions such as grief counseling, addiction counseling, chronic pain counseling, and behavior management for clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
• Facilitate research initiatives to enhance clinical practices and contribute to the understanding of mental health issues like PTSD care and autism spectrum disorders.
• Maintain compliance with clinical ethical guidelines while delivering culturally competent Christian counseling when appropriate.
• Support clients through intake procedures, treatment planning sessions, and ongoing patient assessment to monitor progress.

Clinical Director (Mental Health/SUD)

Essential Functions Specific Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Provide oversight for the Outpatient Clinic and help ensure excellence in service delivery. Develop, update, and implement clinical procedures in accordance with DMH.

Ensure billing is in compliance with DMH and Medicaid standards. Provide individual and group clinical supervision of mental health staff.

Ensure that clinic meets all contractual goals and funding requirements. Assist staff and interns with urgent clinical situations and provide supervisory crisis coverage

May provide individual, family therapy as needed Qualifications: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.

A minimum of three (3) years of administrative management and clinical supervisory experience at a Mental Health Outpatient clinic. Strong knowledge of the Medicaid billing process.

Extensive clinical experience working with youth, families, and substance abuse. Collaborative and team oriented.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and meticulous attention to detail.

Computer literacy required (MS word, MS excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project).

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
