Pay Package

• Taxable Pay: $26/hour
• Weekly Stipend: $1,246

Job Description

The Clinical Social Worker will provide clinical assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, care coordination, and psychosocial support to patients receiving behavioral health services. The Social Worker will work closely with patients, families, physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and support individualized treatment and discharge plans.

Requirements

• LCSW or LICSW/LMHC license required in Massachusetts.
• Clinical Master's Degree required.
• Prior experience in an inpatient behavioral health or acute care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, counseling, communication, and crisis-intervention skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Valid Driver’s License (DL) required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• 2 professional references required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and clinical assessments of patients.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling as appropriate.
• Support patients experiencing emotional, behavioral, psychiatric, or social challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
• Provide crisis intervention and appropriate clinical support during behavioral health emergencies.
• Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients with appropriate community resources.
• Assist patients and families with accessing healthcare, housing, financial, social, and community services.
• Coordinate referrals to outpatient behavioral health, rehabilitation, community, and other support services.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, patients, and families.

Pay: $2,250.00 - $2,290.00 per week
