We are seeking a Licensed Psychotherapist (LCSW, PsyD, PhD) to join our growing clinical team. This role offers a unique, balanced caseload split between specialized eating disorder care and general outpatient psychotherapy (CBT for anxiety, mood disorders, and health psychology).

Bonus Mentorship: The incoming clinician will benefit from the opportunity for consultation and program guidance directly from our Eating Disorder Program Director, Heather Rosen, PhD—a recognized specialist in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) and eating disorder care. This makes it an ideal opportunity for a clinician eager to sharpen their specialized clinical skills within an established, high-end private practice.

This role offers flexible scheduling and may be structured as full-time or part-time.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialized Clinical Care: Provide evidence-based individual, family, and adolescent therapy for clients presenting with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns (utilizing FBT, CBT-E, DBT, and ACT frameworks).
• General Outpatient Therapy: Carry a diverse caseload of general outpatient clients presenting with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and health-related concerns using CBT and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Consultation & Collaboration: Participate in case consultation with our ED Program Director and collaborate with internal colleagues, external dietitians, and medical providers.
• Documentation: Maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant clinical notes using our electronic health record system.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Unrestricted New York State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD/PhD). (Strong LMFT or LMHC-level candidates with ED experience may be considered).
• Clinical Background:
• Demonstrated experience or formal training in eating disorders and disordered eating (FBT knowledge is a strong plus).
• Solid foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and evidence-based care for anxiety and general mental health.
• Qualities: Empathetic, collaborative, independent, and enthusiastic about receiving specialized clinical supervision to grow their career.
