Clinical Director-LPC, LCSW, LMFT

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations within our halfway house specializing in alcohol and drug services. The ideal candidate will hold licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT and possess a strong background in addiction counseling and substance use disorder treatment. This leadership role involves providing clinical supervision, ensuring compliance with licensing standards, and fostering a supportive environment for individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. The Clinical Director will play a key role in maintaining high-quality care through assessment, treatment planning, and facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions. This position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Duties

• Provide clinical supervision to licensed and unlicensed staff, supporting their professional development and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and oversee treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices for substance use disorders.
• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on addiction recovery and mental health support.
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR/EHR systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve service delivery outcomes.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with licensing requirements through participation in yearly continuing education related to substance abuse.
• Foster an inclusive environment that respects cultural diversity among clients and staff.
• Monitor program effectiveness and implement improvements based on client feedback and clinical outcomes.

Skills

• Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT with relevant clinical experience in addiction counseling.
• Proven experience working with individuals with substance use disorders in a halfway house or similar setting.
• Strong clinical supervision skills with the ability to mentor staff effectively.
• Expertise in addiction counseling techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and case management.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients, families, and team members.
• Knowledge of assessment tools, treatment planning processes, and documentation standards related to substance abuse programs.
