Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and seasoned Clinical Director to join our dedicated team at Brighten Bay. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic and treatment modalities and a commitment to improving the mental health and well-being of our individuals we treat. The therapist will provide support through individual, group and family therapy sessions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Provide psychotherapy services utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy and art therapy.
- Engage in crisis intervention as needed to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for individuals with developmental disabilities and other populations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for clients, including inpatient settings when necessary.
- Stay informed about best practices in mental health treatment and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of Eating Disorders and treatment.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
- Level 2 Background Clearance
- Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience in providing psychotherapy and diagnostic evaluations is essential.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining client records accurately.
