Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Clinical team. The Clinical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of medical management, as well as familiarity with CARF and DBHDS standards and healthcare management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce Be Bold Recovery policies, guidelines, and safety standards.
  • Maintain facility standards and report deficiencies.
  • Support chain of command and foster a positive, professional work environment.
  • Conduct in-service training and oversee clinical staff development.
  • Document progress notes and oversee clinical admissions, ISPs, and ARTS authorizations.
  • Monitor patient stay and address coverage issues.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy, and assist with clinical emergencies.
  • Lead treatment planning meetings, staff communication, and clinical supervision.
  • Ensure quality treatment documentation and participate in QA activities.
  • Develop policies and coordinate with leadership on staff and program updates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Licensure: Active LCSW or LPC license in Virginia.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience working with adults with substance use disorders (SUDs) in an outpatient, residential, or related setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise and support clinical staff, including overseeing client care, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Education: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, manage clinical operations, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
