Child Therapist LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC (Full-time/Part-time)

Patchwork Therapy’s mission is to serve as an emotional health home for children, families, and adults. We strive to create an open and safe therapy space for people to explore their life experiences in order to improve personal and interpersonal relationships and outcomes. Patchwork Therapy commits to building a well-rounded and diverse group of therapists to meet the needs of the community and to build connection between us all.

Currently we are very motivated and seeking a fully licensed mental and behavioral health therapist (LCSW/LCPC) to provide therapeutic services to children ages 7 - 12 with the option to see older pre-teens and teens as available. Flexible schedule as agreed upon by leadership and clinician, with a priority in meeting client needs. It is also ideal if a candidate can spend time at both our Elmhurst and Downers Grove offices, although not mandatory. Nights and weekends are frequently requested, and, therefore, a must consider a balance of some evenings/weekends in addition to daytime hours if desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload of the number of clients per week to be agreed upon at time of hire based on clinician and PWT needs and availabilities

• Maintain appropriate and HIPAA compliant records

• Maintain healthy communication with PWT team and management

• Communicate timely, effectively, respectfully, and appropriately with clients

• Keep up to date with licensure requirements for continuing education

• Openness to consult and work collaboratively with team members, willingness to co-treat

• Apply best practices and be up to date with relevant social events impacting humans on a local and global level

Skills

• Strong clinical skills - rapport building, assessments and evaluations, treatment planning/goal setting, therapeutic engagement, and reflective practice

• Working knowledge of ethical practice standards and commitment to ethical practice

• Competency and comfort in favored therapeutic style

• Ability and willingness to process difficult cases and your own reactions within the therapeutic relationships

• Willingness to grow in clinical practice and treatment skills or competency in populations or presenting issues

• Healthy attitude and self-care habits

Patchwork Therapy's Role

• Secures clients and will schedule initial visits appropriate with your schedule, skill, and special interest, as possible

• Provides and maintains therapists' access to HIPAA Compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR)

• Provides business cards, HIPAA compliant email address, website profile

• Provides supervision towards clinical licensure and consultation following licensure

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
