Peaks Counseling, LLC, a private counseling practice located in Centennial and Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and licensed clinician to join our expanding team. We specialize in providing comprehensive counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults facing a diverse range of mental health challenges. At Peaks Counseling, our mission is to deliver the highest standard of care in a warm, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment.Specifically, we would like to find a therapist open to working with children aged 5-18 years, who has play therapy experience, and enjoys working with kids. We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about advancing their career and committed to fostering the success of our clients. We are seeking a licensed therapist who enjoys working with children and teens and is looking to grow a consistent caseload within a supportive group practice.

Days Requested: We are seeking a therapist available on Tuesdays and Fridays (Weekends Optional) at our Centennial location, with the opportunity to add one or two days at our Littleton office in the future if desired.

This is a contractor (1099) position with flexible scheduling and strong referral support.

Provide counseling services to clients aged 5 to 18 years.

Professional Requirements

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related mental health field is required.
• Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado.
• Experience in Private Practice
• Experience working with children and teens/adolescents
• Play Therapy experience preferred
• Must hold Professional Liability Insurance
• Maintain a caseload of approximately 10–15 clients per week
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner (within 48 hours)
• Respond to new client referrals within 24 business hours
• Offer brief consultation calls to potential clients when appropriate
• Agree to a Non-Solicitation Agreement.
• Must be willing to accept health insurance: Peaks Counseling will help with this credentialing process.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to schedule clients or reschedule clients in a timely manner and accept payments at the time of service.
• Must be able to provide some evening hours. You are also welcome to provide weekend hours if you'd like, however it is not necessary.
• Must provide psychotherapy services to clients at Peaks Counseling, either Centennial, Littleton, or both locations.
• Availability to meet monthly to discuss case load, questions, and to collaborate with team members.
• Can confidently manage caseload and can finish notes in a timely manner.

Compensation

The position is compensated as a fee split structure. This means a % of a session cost will go directly to the contractor and the other % to the company. Potential to be compensated at various fee split structures will be determined based upon clinician's performance, experience, and upon annual reviews.

Experience

• Clinical Mental Health Counseling: At least 2-4 years of licensed experience (Required)

License

• Licensed Professional Counselor (Required) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). LMFT Accepted as well. MUST be licensed.

• Contractor can take days off as needed but we do not have PTO. Contractors will simply need to reschedule clients as needed if they take vacations or sick days.
