Job Overview

Arise Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, reliable bilingual Spanish-speaking Mental Health Therapist to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice in Southern Maryland. This position specifically requires a clinician who is fluent in both Spanish and English and able to provide psychotherapy services in Spanish. We provide high-quality, trauma-informed care to children, adolescents, and adults through a supportive, collaborative clinical environment.

This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, flexibility, and ethical, client-centered care—without excessive micromanagement. Therapists will provide psychotherapy services, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team as needed.

Compensation

• LMSW / LGPC: $70–$80 per completed session
• LCSW-C / LCPC: $80–$90 per completed session

(Fee-for-service / contractor positions available)

Responsibilities

• Provide individual (and optional family) psychotherapy to clients across the lifespan
• Provide psychotherapy services in both Spanish and English based on client needs
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized, measurable treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions (CBT, supportive therapy, solution-focused therapy, etc.)
• Maintain timely, accurate, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation in the EHR
• Provide services in-person and/or via telehealth, based on client needs and clinician availability
• Collaborate with prescribers and other members of the care team when clinically appropriate
• Participate in occasional case consultations or team meetings as needed

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program
• Active Maryland license as LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, or LCPC
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to provide psychotherapy services in Spanish
• Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy (pre-licensed clinicians welcome with appropriate supervision pathway)
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and ethical practice
• Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while meeting documentation standards

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience working with children and adolescents
• Familiarity with Medicaid populations
• Experience in outpatient behavioral health or community mental health settings

Pay: $84,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year
