Bilingual Licensed / Intern Therapist (LPC, LPC-A, Intern)

Job Description

Reports to: Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor

Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Responsibilities: Providing; Crisis Intervention, Individual and Group Therapy, Case Management, Group Facilitation for victims, and assist in carrying out Psycho educational Prevention Programs for youth and adults.

Duties:

Direct Services

• Provides Crisis Intervention services to Child and Adult Victims of Sexual Assault.
• Leads Therapeutic Groups for Victims of Sexual Assault
• Provides Crisis Intervention services to Child and Adult Victims of Domestic Violence.
• Works with the leadership team as directed to provide collaboration with the Sexual Assault Primary Prevention Program.
• Works under the supervision of the LPC Supervisor to provide counseling services to Child and Adult Victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic violence, and other victims of violent crime.

Administration

• Assist the Director of Victim Services in preparing Victim Services monthly statistical information for grant funders as required.
• Documentation (notes, files, date base)
• File upkeep, maintaining files for 7 years
• ECRF reporting
• Intake paperwork
• Intake database
• Client database

Outreach & Training

• Assist in providing training to School District Staff and Community Stakeholders in accordance with grant funding requirements.
• Partners with the Victim Services Program to ensure program cohesion and training to staff and volunteers when required.
• Participates in community awareness events and creates educational outreach posts.
• Completes required trainings and maintains continuing education hours for licensure.
• Promotes agency programs through media outreach, tabling events, and community engagement activities.

Prevention

• Provides Family Violence Prevention & Crisis Intervention resources to Child Victims and their parents/caretakers.
• Assist in the development of Sexual Assault Prevention program curriculum.
• Assists in carrying out the Sexual Assault Prevention program curriculum through education programs.

Other Duties as assigned

• Assumes additional responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth workflow, quality service delivery, and effective organizational functioning.
• Attends relevant professional conferences to stay current on best practices in counseling.

Hours:

• Part-time staff may work up to 29 hours a week. Some evening availability is required. Work schedules may adjust according to client needs and agency demands.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Must hold a Master’s degree in related field and a current LPC, LMFT or LCSW or LMSW (LPC-A may be considered).
• Ability to identify professional boundaries and adhere to the LPC code of ethics.

Expected hours: No more than 29.0 per week
