Behavioral Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPC)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist (LMFT, LCSW, or LPC) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic support to individuals across diverse age groups, including children, and backgrounds, focusing on promoting mental well-being, managing behavioral challenges, and fostering positive growth. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional, psychological, and developmental issues through evidence-based interventions and personalized care plans. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, including diagnostic evaluations and mental health screenings
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address issues related to mental health, addiction, trauma (including PTSD), gender identity, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and crisis situations
• Collect and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards
• Engage in case management activities to coordinate care with other healthcare providers, social workers, educators, and community resources
• Utilize data collection techniques to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
• Offer crisis intervention services to de-escalate urgent situations effectively and ensure client safety
• Support clients with special needs by applying behavior management strategies and conflict resolution techniques

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in home & community care settings or behavioral health environments
• Strong background in social work, mental health counseling, or related fields with relevant certifications or licenses
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
• Experience with addiction counseling, crisis management, and trauma-informed care approaches, such as PTSD care
• Familiarity with working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and special education principles
• Skilled in conducting patient assessments, intake procedures, diagnostic evaluations, and case management activities
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), and group therapy techniques
• Ability to handle sensitive situations involving gender issues, counseling, or conflict management with professionalism and empathy
• Excellent communication skills for engaging patients effectively through individual or group psychotherapy sessions

Pay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hour
