Compensation & Employee Hours: W-2 Employee

• $50 per session: includes completion of 53-55 minute session with individuals, couples, and families
• $25 per administrative hour with a ratio of 30 minutes per every one completed 53-55 minute session
• Availability: 15 hours availability for in person sessions and 15 hours availability for virtual telehealth appointments with time flexibility within business hours: Monday-Thursday 10 AM-7 PM MST

About Our Practice

Ampaw Psychotherapy and Consulting LLC is a Denver-based, trauma-competent, decolonizing mental health practice rooted in liberation and cultural humility. We specialize in relational trauma, life transitions, and relationship trauma, serving BIPOC, LGBTQ+, working class families, and individuals navigating identity emergence and relational healing in Colorado who have often been failed by systems that were supposed to help them. Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, integrous, compassionate, driven, and values-aligned Associate Therapist to join our hybrid team starting at a part time (12-21 client hours a week) basis with the goal of moving to a full time basis (22-30 clients per week). We welcome candidates who are ready to grow professionally, hold the value of high integrity, learn the administrative side of mental health practice operations, and contribute meaningfully to a team that is building something important.

We ask that our associate therapist hold the following qualifications:

• At least one year of direct mental health care to marginalized or minoritized populations, especially working the global majority, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQQIPAA, immigrant, first generation, individuals, couples, and/or families
• Experience with Google Workspace and an electronic health records system like Jane, Simple Practice, TherapyNotes, TherapyAppointment, etc.
• Ability and experience completing timely documentation and administrative requirements.
• Willingness to provide relational trauma therapy for individuals, couples, and families as a solo therapist and alongside an intern in co-therapy
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills: ability to and willingness to solve technological problems in HIPAA compliant platforms
• Willingness to learn marketing and business development skills in a group private practice setting in order to support the growth of your caseload
• Must meet all academic, legal, and background requirements necessary for providing psychotherapy services in Colorado
• Enrollment in or completion of training outside of graduate school including post-masters certification in marriage and family therapy, addictions counseling, case management, or other speciality areas.
• Interest in completing multiple licenses in the state of Colorado

What You Will Do: Responsibilities and Tasks

• Complete all networking and marketing requirements to support client caseload growth
• Schedule and attend (on time) free 30 minute consultations with clients seeking individual, couples, and family therapy
• Schedule and provide (on time) evidence-based ongoing individual, couples, and family therapy from a person-centered, liberation based approach in compliance with legal and ethical standards in our mental health profession
• Maintain timely professional communication with clients and the internal team at Ampaw Psychotherapy and Consulting typically within 2-3 business dates, except for documented time off or required academic obligations.
• Complete all adjunctive documentation by 24 hours after of the completed session and comply with all policies and procedures regarding documentation
• Collaborate internally and externally (with required consent) with other professionals to ensure strong continuity of care for clients
