Kairos Counseling Center (www.kairoscounseling.com) is seeking an Associate Therapist to join our supportive, collegial, multi-disciplinary private practice in Vacaville, CA. We are passionate about providing the highest quality evidence-based treatments with emphasis on facilitating mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual health and well-being.
The Associate Therapist position is designed to provide advanced training and supervision to Associate Marriage & Family Therapists (AMFT), Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSW) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCC). Our Associate Therapist supervision and training program meets the requirements for licensure as set forth by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences for LCSW, LMFT and LPCC candidates. Previous Associate Therapists in our training program have completed their required hours and achieved licensure in less than two years.
Responsibilities
- Evidence-based evaluation and treatment of adults, couples, adolescents, children, and families with a wide variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns and psychiatric diagnoses.
- Associate Therapists are provided with weekly supervision, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and are afforded many other didactic opportunities.
- Services will be provided via a mix of Telehealth and in-person modalities depending on patient factors and safety considerations.
Experience & Qualifications
- A Master's degree is required.
- Current registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as an ACSW, AMFT, or APCC is required.
- Experience in working with couples and/or children is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to work on Thursdays & Fridays is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
