Mondays & Tuesdays In-Person + Opportunity to Expand via Telehealth

Compensation

$50 per completed client session during initial 90-day period

$25/hour for required administrative time, staff meetings, and supervision

Inspired Life Counseling is a private practice with offices in Redding and Chico, providing in-person and telehealth psychotherapy throughout California. We are looking for an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) to join our Redding team.

We currently have an immediate opening for an associate who is available to see clients in person on Mondays and Tuesdays in our Redding office. Once the associate has developed a full caseload on those two days, there will be opportunities to expand their caseload by providing telehealth services from home on additional days.

This could be a great fit for an associate who wants to begin with a consistent two-day schedule and gradually grow into a larger caseload while maintaining flexibility and the ability to work remotely.

Applicants must have completed a qualifying Master's degree and have received their California AMFT or ASW registration number from the Board of Behavioral Sciences before beginning clinical work.

Compensation

During the initial 90-day period:

• $50 per completed client session
• $25/hour for required administrative time, including staff meetings and supervision

At approximately 90 days, we will review performance, caseload development, attendance, documentation, client retention, and fulfillment of position responsibilities. Compensation will also be reviewed at that time, with the opportunity to transition to the practice's percentage-based compensation structure in accordance with the employment agreement.

Our goal is to help associates develop and maintain a healthy caseload. Inspired Life Counseling provides referrals, credentialing and billing support, and administrative assistance; however, caseload size can vary based on client demand, scheduling availability, insurance credentialing, clinical fit, and client retention.

Duties & Responsibilities

Associates are responsible for:

• Completing biopsychosocial assessments
• Providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy within their scope of competence
• Developing and maintaining treatment plans
• Completing timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Managing their clinical schedule and appointment availability
• Participating in required supervision and staff meetings
• Maintaining professional, ethical, and BBS standards of practice

Each clinician has their own HIPAA-compliant email address and phone number, while our administrative team supports scheduling, billing, and general administrative needs so therapists can spend more of their time focused on clinical work.

And because work doesn't have to be sterile to be professional: there are usually snacks in the breakroom, occasional team lunches, and periodic staff parties throughout the year.

Schedule & Growth Opportunity

Initial required availability: Mondays and Tuesdays in our Redding office.

We are looking for someone who can offer substantial appointment availability on both days and who wants to develop a consistent in-person caseload.

Once those two clinical days are filled, the associate has the opportunity to add additional work-from-home telehealth days, allowing the position and income to grow without requiring additional days in the office.

Evening or weekend availability may also provide additional opportunities for caseload growth based on client demand.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or another BBS-qualifying discipline
• Current California AMFT, APCC, or ASW registration
• Ability to provide in-person services in Chico on Mondays and Tuesdays
• Ability to maintain timely clinical documentation
• Strong professional and interpersonal skills
• Interest in continued clinical growth and development

Experience with couples therapy, trauma treatment, or other specialized modalities is welcome but not required. We are interested in clinicians who are eager to learn and continue developing their clinical skills.

Training and ongoing support in EMDR.

Prior experience with EMDR is not required. Inspired Life Counseling specializes in trauma-informed treatment, and associates who are not already EMDR trained will be required to complete EMDR training after hire.

After three months of employment, associates are eligible for a 0% interest EMDR training loan through Inspired Life Counseling. ILC pays the full cost of the approved training upfront, and the associate repays the training cost through 10 equal payroll deductions pursuant to a signed loan agreement.

Once trained, associates will work alongside other EMDR-trained clinicians and have access to peer consultation and ongoing support as they develop their EMDR skills.

In-person services are required Mondays and Tuesdays with the potential to add evening and weekend sessions should the associate desire more time in the office.

Additional telehealth work-from-home may become available as the associate's caseload develops.

Job Type

Part-time initially, with the opportunity to expand hours and caseload through telehealth.
