Associate Therapist (AMFT / APCC / ASW)

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Therapist (AMFT / APCC / ASW) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy and support to children, adolescents, and their families. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, implement therapeutic interventions, and promote mental wellness. Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify individual needs and treatment goals
• Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as behavioral therapy and psychotherapy
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate trauma-specific interventions and applied behavior analysis when appropriate
• Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services across multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate, detailed clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical record standards
• Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools to inform treatment strategies and monitor patient progress
• Collaborate with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds to deliver culturally sensitive mental health counseling

Requirements

• Current licensure or registration as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), or Associate Social Worker (ASW)
• Experience or training in behavioral therapy, child & family counseling, and youth therapy techniques
• Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance for patient records
• Strong skills in treatment planning, patient assessment, and clinical documentation
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in a compassionate manner
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients in individual, group, or couples therapy sessions
• A proactive attitude with a commitment to ongoing professional development in behavioral health practices
