Associate Therapist – In-Person & Telehealth

Peace of Mind Wellness & Family Counseling, Inc. is a growing group private practice in Orange County, California, seeking passionate and skilled Associate Therapists to join our team.

This role includes providing both in-person and Telehealth counseling sessions, with required availability during evenings and/or weekends.

Position Overview

We are seeking therapists experienced in:

• Clinical interviewing and assessment
• Individual, family, couples, and group counseling
• Crisis intervention and therapeutic treatment
• Developing and implementing effective treatment plans
• Applying psychological theories to support client growth and recovery
• Understanding and adhering to laws and regulations regarding patient rights

Essential Responsibilities

✔ Conduct accurate mental health assessments using established diagnostic criteria

✔ Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans

✔ Respond effectively to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions or referrals

✔ Assess the need for and coordinate medication referrals when appropriate

✔ Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and uphold confidentiality standards

✔ Communicate clinical information clearly and professionally

Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in:

• Marriage & Family Therapy
• Social Work
• Psychology
• Clinical Psychology
• Counseling Psychology
• Counseling (with an emphasis in Marriage, Family, or MFT)

Required Licensure

Must hold an active Associate registration with the California BBS as one of the following:

✔ Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)

✔ Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $72,500.00 per year
