Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Holistic Therapist to join our team. Ideally EMDR trained, yoga certified, somatic based or some other holistic modality. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to families, individuals, and children in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. The therapist will work closely with clients to address a range of issues, including mental health, behavioral problems, and relationship challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to the principles of family therapy, with a focus on empowering clients to make positive changes in their lives.

Duties:

• Conduct individual and family therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Use data collection methods to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide crisis management services to clients in times of distress or emergency.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
• Use ICD-9 codes to accurately document client diagnoses and treatment plans.

• Provide psychotherapy services to clients, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and other evidence-based approaches.

• Assist clients in setting realistic goals and developing coping skills to achieve those goals.

• Conduct family therapy sessions in a group setting to promote a sense of community and support among clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in family therapy.

AMFT- starting pay is $35/hour

No shows/late cancels without 24 hours notice pay at full rate

Minimal paperwork

Flexible schedule but must be able to commit to at least 2 evenings/week

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
