Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and bilingual Therapist to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to individuals and families with a focus on Spanish-speakers facing various challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating therapy sessions using faith-informed counseling that addresses the unique needs of each family unit.
Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the mental health needs of clients and families.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and familial/couple issues.
- Utilize Christian counseling principles when appropriate to support clients' spiritual needs.
- Implement Emotion-Focus Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, or Solution-Based therapy techniques to assist clients in achieving therapeutic goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with ICD-9 guidelines. Ability to complete documentation deadlines (36 hours from appointment).
- Familiar with the utilization of EHR and telehealth technology.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in one hour of direct supervision for every five hours of client contact. No more than six hours of supervision during any single week.
- Stay informed about best practices in psychotherapy and mental health counseling through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid associate licensure as a therapist or counselor in California.
- Bilingual (Fluent)
- One year of experience in child and family counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and other disorders.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic evaluation techniques and mental health counseling methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Open to conducting in-person sessions.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care while respecting client confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
