Associate Marriage and Family Therapist - AMFT & LMFT's

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist(AMFT) to join our team in a private practice setting. As an AMFT, you will provide clinical therapy services to children/teens, individuals, groups, couples, and families. Your role will involve assessing clients' mental health needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients' emotional and behavioral issues
• Complete clients' progress notes, diagnosis, and treatment plans
• Stay up-to-date with current research in the field of mental health therapy
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy
• Valid registration as an AMFT, APCC or licensure as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC
• Experience working with children/adolescents and couples preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients
• Trained (or open to training) OR experienced in EMDR or similar trauma modality preferred
• Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy
