Article 31 Clinic Administrator / Clinical Director (LCSW)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Article 31 Clinic Administrator / Clinical Director (Licensed Clinical Social Worker - LCSW) to lead and oversee the operations of our mental health and social services clinic. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate clinical services, supervise staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster an environment of compassionate, high-quality patient care. Your leadership will drive the delivery of comprehensive behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and family counseling, all while maintaining operational excellence. Duties

• Provide clinical supervision and leadership to social service program staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in behavioral health and social work.
• Oversee daily clinic operations, including patient intake, assessment, treatment planning, and documentation within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Manage clinical caseloads, conducting diagnostic evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans for clients with various mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorders, substance use disorders, Alzheimer's care needs, and developmental disabilities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts to deliver integrated services across home and community care settings while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Lead crisis intervention efforts for clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies, including managing safety protocols and collaborating with emergency responders when necessary.
• Develop and implement policies for clinical counseling programs that incorporate evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and other therapeutic modalities.
• Facilitate training sessions on topics such as behavioral therapy techniques, trauma-informed care, group therapy facilitation, and working with children and families.
• Ensure quality assurance through data collection, case management oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with healthcare standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience in behavioral therapy techniques including CBT, ABA, motivational interviewing, and crisis management strategies.
• Proven expertise in child & family counseling, working with individuals across developmental stages including pediatrics and geriatrics such as Alzheimer’s care.
• Strong background in crisis intervention within hospital or community settings; adept at managing mental health emergencies involving PTSD or substance use disorders.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise social service staff effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment dedicated to client-centered care.
• Proficiency in medical documentation procedures using EMR/EHR systems; thorough understanding of medical terminology related to mental health services.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for safeguarding patient information; experience with intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Leadership skills in social services administration combined with hands-on experience delivering individual/group psychotherapy sessions.
• Skilled in case management practices that promote holistic client well-being across home and community environments.
• Ability to analyze data for quality improvement initiatives; strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
