Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals, families, and groups, fostering positive change and emotional well-being. Your expertise will support clients through evidence-based practices, including behavioral therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention, all within a compassionate and ethical framework. We are looking for associates who are passionate about working with Eating Disorders and OCD/Anxiety disorders. Prior experience not necessary but a genuine passion for working with these populations a must.
Duties
- Conduct intake assessments, clinical evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical terminology and clinical documentation standards.
- Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), ERP, I-CBT, FBT, etc.
- Implement counseling interventions tailored to clients’ needs, including crisis management, trauma care (PTSD), and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans, coordinate care through telehealth platforms, and ensure adherence to clinical research protocols.
- Collect data for ongoing research efforts, monitor client progress through patient assessment tools, and support evidence-based practice initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently registered as an AMFT.
- Experience working with children, families, or individuals with eating disorders, familiarity with special education settings is a plus.
- Demonstrated skills in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, behavioral management.
- Knowledge of medical records management, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology.
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards and experience maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Experience working within healthcare diagnosis frameworks and applying evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations requiring crisis intervention or crisis management techniques.
- Familiarity with working with diverse populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults with eating disorders, trauma and PTSD, Anxiety and OCD.

Pay: $50.00 - $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
