This position is ideal for LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, or Psychologist who wants to expand their clinical skills and do great work in a Holistic Counseling center.

-Have a Masters in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling or PsyD

-Have a minimum of 2 years providing individual psychotherapy AFTER you received your masters, with a focus on working with adolescents (tweens 9-12, teens 13-19, and college aged)

REQUIREMENTS FOR PSYCHOTHERAPIST'S POSITION

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

-Master’s in Social Work or Masters in Mental Health Counseling or PsyD

-LMSW or LMHC

-At least 2 years post-Masters experience providing individual psychotherapy to adolescent clients in private practice, an agency, hospital, or private practice OR School Social Work

-Experience in providing individual psychotherapy a must.

-Experience with LGBTQ or special populations etc is a plus.

-Experience in any specialized issues, i.e. trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, cancer/chronic illness, etc. is a plus.

-Experience with DBT, meditation, mindfulness, EMDR, EFT, reiki, energy healing, spiritual counseling, certified life coaching, the law of attraction, manifestation,

-Experience and interest in running groups or workshops, i.e. mindfulness, meditation, adolescent groups, etc is a plus.

-All superpowers are a definite plus

HOURS AND SCHEDULE

We are hiring Adolescent Therapists for:

Part-time approx 10-15 hours (there may be room to potentially grow into a full time position and possibly a full-time W2 position).

WORKSITE

Therapists are hired with the intention of working on-site at POSITIVE ENERGY Holistic Counseling & Institute in Bayport, NY. However, to serve clients who wish to use teletherapy, we also provide video and phone therapy.

BY JOINING OUR TEAM, YOU WILL RECEIVE

-THE CLINICAL HOURS YOU NEED, if applicable to earn your LCSW or LMHC . In NYS, you must earn 2000 clinical hours diagnosing and providing psychotherapy AND 100 hours of clinical supervision by an approved Clinical Supervisor to sit for your LCSW exam. You will receive the clinical hours needed by conducting individual and family sessions and receiving clinical supervision or team consultation.

-SEASONED CLINICAL SUPERVISION: You will be supervised by a seasoned therapist to diagnose and treat clients. Unlike most private practices who provide Clinical Supervision for emergencies only, we spend the time and money to provide scheduled, free-of-charge supervision to our therapists because we know it keeps them healthy and effective.

-THE SUPPORT OF OUR COMMUNITY: Avoid the isolation and often overwhelming responsibility of Private Practice by being a part of thriving, drama-free, supportive, clinical team and community.

-CERTIFICATION IN ADVANCED HOLISTIC COUNSELING (AHC): When applicable, you may be eligible to be Trained and Certified in our cutting-edge therapeutic model that combines traditional psychotherapy with the best tools from life coaching, energy healing, science, and spiritual counseling. This modern, holistic, intuitive, skill-based therapeutic model was created by PECC owner and Clinical Director, Beth Miller, LCSW-R. CEC, and only PECC therapists or applicants accepted into the program can currently be certified in it.

-CONTINUOUS TRAINING IN THE MOST EFFECTIVE TRADITONAL AND HOLISTIC MODALITIES: When applicable, we will share clinical methods of using and combining: CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Life Coaching, EFT Emotional Freedom Techniques, Energy Healing methods, Meditation, Mindfulness, The Law of Attraction, Visualization, Manifestation, the Neuroscience and Biology of reprogramming the brain and body, Spiritual Counseling, Intuition, and Metaphysics.

SALARY: THERAPISTS ARE PAID PER SESSION
