Juniper Tree Recovery is expanding our clinical team and is accepting applications from Kentucky-credentialed therapists and substance use disorder counselors who want to help individuals build meaningful, lasting recovery.

We are seeking candidates holding one or more of the following Kentucky credentials:

LCSW | LPCC | CSW | LPCA | CADC

Juniper Tree Recovery provides residential and outpatient treatment for adults experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health conditions. Our clinical team works collaboratively to provide individualized, evidence-based care in a professional and supportive treatment environment.

The Position

Members of our clinical team provide counseling and clinical services consistent with their education, training, credentialing, and scope of practice. Depending upon credentials and assigned caseload, duties may include:

• Providing individual and group counseling
• Completing biopsychosocial assessments
• Developing and updating individualized treatment plans
• Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings
• Documenting clinical services accurately and within required timeframes
• Assisting clients with recovery, transition, and discharge planning
• Providing appropriate crisis intervention and support
• Applying evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches
• Coordinating care with other members of the clinical and medical teams
• Maintaining professional and ethical boundaries
• Following applicable confidentiality, regulatory, and accreditation requirements

Who We Are Looking For

Applicants must hold or be eligible to practice under a current Kentucky credential as an:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Certified Social Worker (CSW)
• Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA)
• Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)

Candidates must also be able to successfully complete required pre-employment screening.

We particularly welcome applicants with experience in addiction treatment, behavioral health, residential treatment, outpatient services, or co-occurring disorders.

Additional experience or training in any of the following is valuable:

• ASAM Criteria
• Trauma-informed treatment
• EMDR
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Motivational Interviewing
• Individual and group counseling
• Treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
